Accepting submissions for the competition
The authors register and upload their photos on the website of the photo contest. The total number of photos from one participant should not exceed 25 pictures. Uploaded works cannot be edited, replaced, or deleted.

Evaluating images
Uploaded works are pre-moderated for compliance with the terms of the contest. After that, each photo is evaluated by at least three members of the Expert Commission. The works with the highest average score advance to the semifinals.

Determining the finalists
The finalists of the contest are determined at an in-person meeting of the Expert Commission. First, the experts vote for the best works (each expert has ten votes that they can give to the semi-finalist works). Then, from all the works selected by the experts, ten photographs are selected by discussion in each of the categories of the main contest and five in each of the categories of the children's contest. It is these works that get the chance to become finalists. After the meeting of the Expert Committee, the potential finalists are asked to provide originals and RAWs, which are checked for full compliance with the conditions of the contest.

Voting for the People’s Choice Award
The finalists' works are posted on a special project page. Internet users vote for the work they like. The photo with the highest number of votes wins.

Jury meeting
The Jury meeting is held in the remote format. Each member of the Jury has the right to vote for three of the ten finalists' works in each category. According to the results of the voting, the winner of the category is determined, as well as the holders of the 2nd and 3rd places.

The format of the event will depend on the current epidemiological situation.
